Peritoneal Inflammation for Project: NIH-0195 Test Description: The peritoneal inflammation assay is used to assess a mouse's immune system by challenge with zymosan. The test will specifically be used to determine the mouse's ability to mobilize neutrophils into the peritoneal cavity in response to zymosan, an extract of yeast cells.
