Mutation details: The promoter drives liver-specific expression of the human cDNA with a poly A signal derived from the human growth hormone and alpha-fetoprotein enhancer elements. Lines E (one insertion on chromosome 3H3) and G (one insertion on chromosome XA6) were generated. Line E does not elicite an antibody response while line G elicites the highest level of antibody response. Protein expression is detected in various organs but not in the circulation. (J:176909)
