Mutation details: Part of exon 4 and all of exons 5 and 6 were replaced with the neomycin resistance gene by homologous recombination. This removed amino acids 283-385, which contains much of the RING domain from the protein product. RT-PCR analysis of various tissues confirmed the region was removed. (J:160681)
