Insertion |

|
Mutation details: A 1.9 kb fragment of the mouse Mbp promoter (from the pMG2 plasmid) drives expression of a 2.3 kb cDNA fragment encoding rat Pad2. This line contains 15 copies of the transgene. Immunohistochemical analysis indicates increased expression in the white matter tracts of the corpus callosum. Immunoslot blot analysis of whole brain homogenates also indicates increased expression in mice at 2 to 6 months of age. Myelin samples from the central nervous system contain increased levels of MBP citrullination. (J:142650)
