Transgene description |

Transgene
Type: | |
Transgenic (random, expressed) |
|
Mutation: | |
Insertion |
| |
|
Mutation details: This transgene consists of a chicken beta-actin promoter with the upstream cytomegalovirus enhancer (pCAGGS) followed by a floxed lacZ neo fusion cassette with three SV40 poladenylation sites, a constitutively active form of Akt1 with an HA epitope, an IRES site, and enhanced GFP. Cre-mediated recombination allows for expression of the constitutively active Akt1 and EGFP. Two lines were generated (42 and 56) that both had strong homogeneous lacZ expression. This is a representative record for these two lines. (J:136227)
