Transgenic (random, expressed) |

Mutation: | |
Insertion |
| |
|
Mutation details: The transgene construct contained the murine Tnf-alpha gene driven by the rat insulin 2 promoter (RIP). Founder mice carried the transgene with copy number ranging from 2-20 per genome. Line 17 was used for further study. Transcripts of the transgene were detected by Northern blot only in the pancreas of the mice. (J:91820)
