Transgenic (random, expressed) |

Mutation: | |
Insertion |
| |
|
Mutation details: This transgene expresses a carboxy-terminal truncated mouse Tnnt2 gene under the control of a rat alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter. The truncation corresponds to a truncation described in familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients in which exons 15 and 16 are missing. This line expresses less than 5% of total Tnnt2 as the mutant transgenic form but expresses slightly more transgene than line 117. (J:48301)
