Insertion |

|
Mutation details: A YAC containing a full-length human huntingtin gene under the control of the endogenous human HDH promoter was modified with a 128 CAG repeat expansion. The resulting construct (YAC128) was used to generate transgenic mice. Founder line 53 integrated the most copies of the transgene and had the highest levels of protein expression (75% of endogenous levels) as determined by densitometric analysis. (J:84453)
