Mutation details: The human FGF19 cDNA was ligated to a rat myosin light chain 2 promoter and followed by the splice donor/acceptor sites present between exons 4 and 5 of the human growth hormaone gene. RT-PCR analysis of skeletal muscle biopsies showed the presence of human transcript in transgenic mice. Transgenic protein was verified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. This record is a representative transgene as founder lines were not named. (J:76323)
