Insertion |
| |
|
Mutation details: A hypomorphic allele was generated by the insertion of a cassette containing tTA, PGK-neo, and tetO immediately upstream of the start codon. While expression of tTA was not detected, putatively due to an influence of the PGK promoter, Western blot analysis of homozygous mutant mice showed that the presence of the cassette reduced protein levels by approximately 90% in the striatum.
