Mutation details: Part of exon 3 and all of exon 4 were replaced with a PGK-neo cassette in the reverse orientation via homologous recombination. The gene targeting event results in deletion of part of the second transmembrane domain and the entire third transmembrane domain. Absence of gene expression in homozygous mutant animals was verified by Northern blot analysis of spleen mRNA using a Cd37 cDNA probe. (J:63315)
