Mutation details: The gene was disrupted by replacement of the entire homeodomain and C-terminus with an in-frame lacZ-neo cassette via homologous recombination. Southern blot analysis identified homozygous mutant embryos up to E15. X-gal staining of mutant embryos demonstrated the expression pattern of the lacZ targeted insert is similar to that of endogenous protein. (J:57673)
