Notes |
Founder 247 is representative of 2 founders (247 and 249) carrying approximately 30 copies of the transgene and exhibiting similar phenotypes. Transgenic animals display slight shivering at 2 weeks of age most apparent in the head. At 4 weeks the animals exhibit unsteady gait and progress to muscle atrophy at 2-3 months leading eventually to hind limb paralysis.
