Mutation details: 220 bp containing part of exon 1, intron 1 and part of exon 2 was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. Northern blot analysis on total kidney RNA derived from homozygous mice demonstrated that no detectable transcript was produced from this allele. Western blot analysis on lysates derived from adult kidney confirmed that no detectable protein was expressed from this allele. (J:76278)
