Mutation details: A neomycin selection cassette replaced a genomic fragment containing exons 6 and 7. Northern blot analysis on bone marrow RNA derived from homozygous mice demonstrated that no detectable transcript was produced from this allele. Furthermore, neutrophils and monocytes of homozygous mutant mice were shown to completely lack enzyme activity. (J:53993)
