Mutation details: This Cnr1 mutation was created by gene targeting in which a neo cassette replaced amino acids 33-447 of the coding region (J:54995). A neomycin resistance cassette replaced genomic sequence coding for amino acids 33-447, corresponding to most of the coding sequence of the gene. Absence of the encoded protein in homozygous animals was confirmed by receptor binding studies. (J:54995)
