| Caption | VEGF-C-and galectin-8-induced lymphangiogenesis is diminished in Pdpntm2.1Mlkn/Pdpntm2.1Mlkn Tg(CAG-cre/Esr1*)5Amc/0 (PDPN KO) mice. VEGF-C pellets (160 ng) (N = 10) (g) and galectin-8 pellets (160 ng) (N = 9) (h) were implanted into wild-type (WT) and mutant mice. After 7 days post implantation, the corneal flat mounts were stained anti-LYVE-1 and lymphatic vessel areas were quantified. Representative fluorescence images from each group are shown.
