uCT images of cortical bone in three conditional knockouts: Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar/Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar Tg(Mx1-cre)1Cgn/0 (cKO Mx1), Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar/Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar Tg(Itgam-cre)AJva/0 (cKO CD11b), and Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar/Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar Tg(Sp7-tTA,tetO-EGFP/cre)1Amc/0 (cKO Osx) and their controls (Ctrl). Deletion of Ctsk in osteoclasts (Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar/Ctsk^tm1.1Rbar Tg(Itgam-cre)AJva/0) increases total cross-sectional volume (1.20 +/- 0.05 vs 1.40 +/- 0.06, p<0.05) and cortical bone volume (0.50+/- 0.03 vs 0.65+/-0.05, p<0.05).
