Representative haematoxylin and eosin adrenal staining in wild-type (WT) and Prkar1a^tm1Lsk/Prkar1a^tm1Lsk Tg(Akr1b7-cre)1Anm/0 (AdKO) mice. Dexamethasone suppression test led to the expected decrease of adrenal weight (measured in females) as well as cortical atrophy in WT mice but had no effect on AdKO adrenals. Scale bars, 50 um.
