Germinal center formation and follicular dendritic cell networks in spleens of mice immunized with sheep red blood cells are evident after staining with either PNA (blue) or CR-1 (brown). In wild-type and heterozygous mice, germinal centers and follicular dendritic cell networks are both detected, but are absent in Tnfrsf1a^tm1Blt/Tnfrsf1a^tm1Blt (Tnfrsf1a^-/-) mice.
