Caption The dominant mutation of Rpl31Dts/Dts+ mice (upper left) have kinked, shortened tails that range from one quarter to three quarters the length of a normal tail. The number of kinks varies and the average is slightly over 3. This mutant is also prone to hydrocephalus and aberrant cells have been found in the testis.
