Caption Representative 12-week old littermates. Acox1tm1Jkr/Acox1tm1Jkr mouse (-/-, left) and wild-type mouse (+/+, right). The mutant mice are growth-retarded and weigh 40-45% less than the wild-type littermates. Mutant mice continued to be underweight even at 5 months of age.
