Caption D-K: Brown adiopose tissue (BAT, D and E), skin (F and G), epididymal fat pad (EFP, H and I) and white adipose tissue (WAT, J and K) from 10 week old wild type (WT, D,F,H and J) and Ppargtm3(tTA)Yba/Pparg+ (tTA/+, E,G,I and K) males. BAT exhibits approximately the same phenotype of Ppargtm2(tTA)Yba/Pparg+ mice, whereas subdermal fat and WAT exhibit a markedly attenuated phenotype. Scale bars: D,E,J and K, 50um; F and G, 250um.
