Sections of lens: rct/rct 2 day (e), 14 day (f), 1 month (g) and 4.5 month (h). SJL/J 2 day (d) and 4.5 months (i). At 2 days after birth there is swelling and disordered distribution of the lens spithelium of the rct/rct mice (arrow in e), the lens progressively degenerated at 1 week, 2 weeks and 4 weeks.
