Ednrb^s-l/Ednrb^s-l mice are almost completely white with dark eyes as well as occasional pigmented spots on the head or rump as shown. The piebald mutation disrupts the development of melanocytes derived from the neural crest. All Ednrb^s-l/Ednrb^s-l mice develop megacolon with a lack of enteric ganglion cells in the posterior end of the colon.
