RT-PCR analysis of Cdkn1a (p21), Ccna2 (CyclinA), Aldh1a2 (Raldh2), Mylpc (MLC2v), Hand2 (dHAND), Gata4, Hand1 (eHAND), Srf, Nppa (ANF), Actc1 ([alpha]CA), Nkx2-5 (Nkx2.5) and Mef2c (MEF2C) expression in nontransgenic (NTG) and transgenic (TG) hearts at E9.5. The level for each amplified transcript was normalized to that of GAPDH, and the normalized level for the transgenic heart sample was expressed relative to that in the nontransgenic sample (TG/NTG).
