The sections in b and k have been immunostained with the C6 monoclonal antibody for detection of the blood group I antigen; the immunoreactive cells appear yellow. The sections are sagittal (a-d; progressively more parasagittal in that order), oblique transverse (e, g, h, i and k), and oblique frontal (j).
