Origin: Munich, Germany from Wistar stock selectively bred for superficial glomeruli. To Sim via Veterans Administration Medical Center, San Francisco, California in 1979 at which time inbreeding was begun. Good reproductive performance. Has superficial glomeruli and prominant elongated renal papilla. See also MW and MWF
