Colour: Albino.

Genet. c.

Origin: Muhlbock from a Wistar stock in 1947. A congenic strain with hyperbilirubinaemia and jaundice has been developed by Leyten et al (1986) by backcrossing the jaundice gene j (the Gunn rat) onto strain R.
