Origin: Substrain of MNR (see above). To Harrington in 1965 at F25 (Harrington 1981).


Characteristics

Differs from MNR in a number of characteristics (Harrington 1971a,b, 1972, 1979a-1) and carries the a allele at the agouti locus. Fails to habituate to acoustic startle stimulus (Commissaris et al 1988).
