Origin:Dr. M. Sabourdy about 1960 from Long-Evans outbred stock. To Muhlbock, Amsterdam, and to Han in 1973. Note that other inbred strains independently derived from Long Evans stock may differ because of the outbred origin (Festing and Bender, 1984).
