Colour: Black with the hooded "notched" allele.

Genet. a, B, C, hn .

Origin: Makino, Hokkaido University 1960 from stock the carrying the 'notched' character isolated by Nakata from wild rats in Kyoto, and from a cross involving WKAH. Formerly designated KYO "Kyoto-notched" (Shoji 1977, MC Yoshida, personal communication).


Characteristics

Abnormalities of urogenital organs 11% (Shoji and Harata 1977).
