Mutation details: Flp-mediated excition of F3 sequences in Esyt2 resulted in the removal of the neomycin selection cassette and endogenous exon 10, leaving a mutant form (D4A) of exon 10. This allele expresses a constitutive mutant protein in which the four C2A-domain Ca(2+) binding sites of the C2A-domain are selectively abolished.
