Symbol: Sp7tm1.1Amc
Name: Sp7 transcription factor 7; targeted mutation 1.1, Andrew P McMahon
MGI ID: MGI:5824213
Synonyms: Sp7-BioFL, Sp7-Biotin-3XFLAG
Gene: Sp7  Location: Chr15:102356603-102367035 bp, - strand  Genetic Position: Chr15, 57.51 cM
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:235520
Parent Cell Line:  v6.5 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (C57BL/6 x 129S4/SvJae)F1
Allele Type:    Targeted (Hypomorph)
Mutation:    Insertion
Mutation detailsThe targeting vector contains a loxP-flanked PGKneo cassette upstream of Biotin-3xFLAG (BioFL) sequence (encoding a biotin recognition motif and 3 copies of the FLAG epitope) inserted at the C-terminus of the Sp7 gene. Cre-mediated recombination removed the upstream floxed neo cassette. Western blotting detects the modified allele at slightly reduced levels as compared to wild-type. Temporal and spatial distributions is equivalent to the endogenous Sp7 gene expression. (J:235520)
