Parent Cell Line:  CK35 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S2/SvPas
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe entire gene was replaced with an in-frame lacZ-PGK-neo cassette via homologous recombination. Absence of gene expression was confirmed by Northern blot analysis of various tissues from homozygous mutant animals. Western blot of mouse embryonic fibroblasts derived from homozygous mutants did not detect protein product. LacZ expression was observed in mutant embryos via X-gal staining. (J:53906)
