Mutation details: The targeting vector contained cDNA coding for a fusion protein of click beetle red (CBR)luciferase and monster GFP (hMGFP), preceded by a floxed stop cassette. The construct was targeted to the Gt(ROSA)26Sor locus in ES cells. Cre excision of the stop cassette in knock-in animals results in activation of the CBR reporter.
