Mutation details: A cellular IRES in the 5' UTR of exon 3, the coding region of exon 3 and part of intron 3 were replaced with a floxed complete human RUNX1 splice variant B cDNA and an FRT flanked neo cassette via homologous recombination. The neo cassette was removed by flp mediated recombination. Blotting analysis indicated protein expression in whole homozygous embryos at E13.5 is similar to wild-type controls.
