Mutation
origin
Mutant Cell Line:  S20-7E1
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:119812
Parent Cell Line:  AK7.1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S4/SvJaeSor
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Gene trapped (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion of gene trap vector     Vector: ROSAFARY

Mutation detailsThe gene trap vector ROSAFARY was inserted between exon 1 and 2 creating an exon 1/lacZ fusion transcript and an hyg fusion transcript with the remainder of the coding region. The absence of the normal splice product and the production of the two mutant variants was confirmed by RT-PCR. (J:119812)
