ES cell line EB3/5 is a mutant E14TG2a line carrying one inactivated allele of Pou5f1.
Rescue of placental defects by complementation with tetraploid embryos extends survival up to at least E13.5. These rescued mutant mice have a normal heart, exhibit normal placental development and grow as well as wild-type embryos.
