Sequencing analysis demonstrated that the fusion site between the Pas gene and the gene trap vector is between nucleotide 526 and 527 of the corresponding mRNA. A reporter lacZ gene contained in the gene trap vector is expressed under the control of the endogenous promoter. (J:56814)
