• by 2 years of age, the incidence of spontaneous tumor reaches about 12% compared to 1 to 2% in wild-type and heterozygous mice
• mice treated with a dose of gamma radiation that induces a very low incidence of thymic lymphomas exhibit a 30% incidence with a CD4-CD8-TCRalphabetalow phenotypemice treated with a dose of gamma radiation that induces a very low incidence of thymic lymphomas exhibit a 30% incidence with a CD4-CD8-TCRalphabetalow phenotype
