• while the overall absolute number of double negative cells is similar to wild-type as are the numbers of early stage double negative cell subpopulation, the number of CD44-CD25+ cells is increased about 2-fold
• small decrease in mature IgMloIgDhi B cells
• about a 7- to 10-fold reduction in the number of single positive cells is seen in the thymus and in peripheral T cell populations in the spleen and lymph nodes
• greatly reduced T cell receptor-induced calcium fluxes (J:79323)
• calcium fluxes induced by anti-CD3 antibody cross-linking are diminished in T cells (J:86654)
