• at P28, mice treated with tamoxifen during neonatal development exhibit loss of Prox1 expression in most dentate gyrus cells and both mature and immature granule cell properties and intermingled dentate gyrus progenitors in the granular layer unlike control mice
• at P28, mossy cells are reduced in the hilus compared to in control mice
