cardiovascular system
• on day 7 and 14 with continuous angiotensin II infusion mean blood pressure is lower than in wild-type males; however for the first 5 days of infusion the increase in mean blood pressure is similar to wild-type and when mice are given angiotensis II and L-NAME mean blood pressure at day 14 is not significantly different
• however, the degree of vascular hypertrophy induced by 14 days of angiotensin II treatment is not significantly different from wild-type mice and baseline mean blood pressure is not different from wild-type
• following 7 days of angiotensin II infusion the acetylcholine-induced relaxation is not significantly different from untreated mice, unlike in wild-type mice where this acetylcholine response is reduced

muscle
• following 7 days of angiotensin II infusion the acetylcholine-induced relaxation is not significantly different from untreated mice, unlike in wild-type mice where this acetylcholine response is reduced

cellular
• migration in response to Pam3CSK4 fails
• mouse aortic smooth muscle cells stimulated with Pam3CSK4 fail to increased production of reactive oxygen species (ROS)

homeostasis/metabolism
• cell reorientation in cell culture wound healing tests fail

immune system
• macrophage inflammatory protein 2 secretion by mouse aortic smooth muscle cells stimulated with Pam3CSK4 fails although secretion of other cytokines is unaffected
