• transgenic mice show some level of protection against spontaneous diabetes, correlating with level of transgene expression
• onset of diabetes in slightly delayed in mice injected with diabetic T cells compared to NOD controls (16 days vs 13 days) or Fasl transgenic mice (16 days vs 5 days)
