• mice, injected with spleen cells that were pulsed with OT-I (ova) peptide and 4 days later given labeled spleen cells or labeled spleen cells that were pulsed with OT-I (ova) peptide show little CTL-mediated killing of either population; in contrast, control mice display preferential cytolysis of OT-I pulsed spleen cells
• mice display much earlier death after Trypanosoma cruzi infection compared to controls
