neoplasm
• 33% incidence of carcinoma, which was distributed throughout all age groups, with no moderately differentiated prostate cancer
• rapid and uncontrolled tumor development in late age groups, compared to the steadily prolonged cancer development seen in Msmbtm1Xuan mutant mice

neoplasm
• moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma (prostate cancer) was detected by 16-19 weeks of age
• well-differentiated prostate cancer started by 24 weeks of age, mostly in the ventral and dorsolateral prostate lobes (not in the coagulation gland or seminal vesicles) and was detected in 13% of transgenic mice and by 32 weeks or later, prostate cancer was detected in 40% of mice
• poorly differentiated prostate cancer started as early as 16 weeks of age and 8/10 poorly differentiated prostate cancers showed large visible tumors
• 2/3 of castrated mice showed visible, fair-sized carcinoma one month after castration, while 1/3 showed high grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia
• some mice exhibited low grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia at age 12-19 weeks, then gradually decreased to being unidentifiable at or after 28 weeks of age and some mice exhibited high grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia from 12-19 weeks
• metastatic cells of prostatic origin were found in the lymph nodes with the lymph node cortex replaced with undifferentiated epithelial cells

endocrine/exocrine glands
• detected prostate hyperplasia by 10 weeks of age, with a few mice showing an unexpected appearance of hyperplasia at 16 to 32 weeks of age
• moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma (prostate cancer) was detected by 16-19 weeks of age
• well-differentiated prostate cancer started by 24 weeks of age, mostly in the ventral and dorsolateral prostate lobes (not in the coagulation gland or seminal vesicles) and was detected in 13% of transgenic mice and by 32 weeks or later, prostate cancer was detected in 40% of mice

immune system
• transgenic mice with visible prostate tumors had enlarged renal lymph nodes

reproductive system
