Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Transposon induced (Reporter)
Mutation:    Transposon insertion

Mutation detailsThe transposon containing an unspecified hybrid actin promoter driving expression of red fluorescent protein (RFP) flanked by piggyBac-specific left and right terminal sequences was co-injected with a piggyBac-containing transgene to mobilize the transposon. Line 1 contains a transposon insertion 160 kb upstream of the Foxl2 start site in a long range enhancer. Q RT-PCR confirmed reduced expression of Foxl2. (J:210665)
