MGI ID: MGI:5816715
Synonyms: Cp110-
Gene: Ccp110  Location: Chr7:118712552-118737024 bp, + strand  Genetic Position: Chr7, 63.58 cM
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:232855
Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  Not Specified
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion
Mutation detailsExon 5 was flanked by loxP sites. An FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette was removed by breeding heterozygous floxed animals with actin-Flp recombinase mice, and the loxP-flanked exon 5 sequences were removed by breeding with zona pellucida promoter-driven Cre mice which express Cre in developing oocytes. Immunoblot analysis using anti-CP110 antibody on protein extracts confirmed the absence of protein expression in E14.5 homozygous mutant embryos. (J:232855)
