Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsExon 11 was replaced with an FRT- and loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette and modified exon 11 in which a point mutation (T to G) results in the amino acid substitution of alanine for serine at position 557 (S557A). Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. CRY2 protein expressed in the liver of homozygous mutant mice showed no immunoreactivity with the antibody recognizing Ser557-phosphorylated CRY2. (J:224319)
